Why should you buy a Champion 3400-watt inverter generator?

The Champion Power Equipment 100263 3400-Watt Portable Inverter Generator is the perfect choice for many different situations. This generator can be used in your home, RV, or for a project. With the electric start and cold start technology, you will have quick starts even during cold weather.

Moreover, inverter generators can be a good choice because they are quieter, smaller, and use less fuel. They also provide clean energy.

This means that inverter generators run on much cleaner sources such as solar or hydroelectric power when compared to regular generators which can cause environmental pollution when fueled by petroleum-based fuels like gasoline and diesel fumes. Clean energy is the way of the future and inverter generators are an integral part of that.

However, this Champion 3400W generator can be run on gasoline or propane. It is easy to switch between fuels and all you need to do is push a button.

It's very few other generators that offer this, but the generator has a plug you can plug into your trailer so buying an adapter isn't necessary!

I like how powerful it is- I always worry about air conditioning for my RV in the summertime because we keep running out of gas which makes me really nervous when we're driving around - now with the dual fuel capability (gasoline OR PROPANE) and great power output from this inverter generator, those worries are gone: not only will I never have trouble starting up again thanks to its automatic start technology; even if I'm running propane (my tank is already on the RV) it's still got enough power for what I need.

Review of the Champion 3400 Watt dual fuel Inverter Generator

You want a generator that will power your home, but you don't know which one to choose.

There are so many generators on the market and they all seem to have different features. It's hard to find the right one for you.

The Champion 3400 Watt dual fuel Inverter Generator is perfect for powering your home during an outage or emergency because it can be powered by gasoline or natural gas with no need for electricity! This generator also has two AC outlets and one DC outlets, so you'll never run out of power again.

The Champion Power Equipment 100263 3400-Watt Portable Inverter Generator is a great machine. It has a battery, so it starts with an electric start which means that if you are in cold weather, the generator will work quickly. The champion power equipment generator can give power to your home or RV and project!

Moreover, this inverter only makes clean power (3% of it is THD). It has a low oil shutoff sensor that will turn off the inverter if the oil runs out - this ensures safety for when you really need to use your generators during emergencies and natural disasters like hurricanes. All machines have different capacities but we know Champion 3400W generator lasts 7 hours at 25% load on gasoline fuel while running 14 hrs at 25% load on propane.

On the other hand, this generator will work well when you need it and has a great warranty for worry-free purchasing. It produces 3400 starting watts and 3100 running watts when using gasoline, and 3060 starting watts and 2790 running watts when using propane which is more than enough to power your home appliances, electronics, or lights during blackouts.

The Champion's Inverter Technology has many cool features. The device includes two 120V 20A household outlets (5-20R), a 120V 30A RV (TT-30R), and a 12 volt DC automotive-style outlet with a dual USB adapter.

However, it operates at 59 dBA from 23 feet which is the same as normal conversation, an optional Parallel Kit allows you to connect up to 2 extra inverters for more power than ever before, plus it offers a 50 amp plug - just like most RVs take so that air conditioners or anything else can be used between them.

This generator is fully assembled and has foldaway handlebars for easy storage. The tires are never flat so you can ride it anywhere.

In conclusion, inverters have to be certified by the EPA and CARB, which means they are better for the environment. Champion Support backs up this purchase with a 3- year warranty. If something happens to your inverter, they will fix it.

I recommend this 3400-watt generator to anyone who needs a power outage at home. It will run most appliances in your house, and it is quiet enough not to bother the neighbors when you use it in the backyard. I would also like to thank the people that made this product for thinking about how easy it could make it for folks like me!

  • Electric Start

Most generators have recoil starters with pull cables, but this generator also has an electric start. That is convenient and easy to use.

This generator is not as good as the Champion 75537i. It does not have a remote starter, but I am sure you will be okay with the electric start. The remote might cost you more money, though!

There are many great features of this generator. For example, it has a low-oil auto-shutoff feature that makes sure you don't waste any oil or gas, and the wheels make it easy to transport.

Overall, this is a very good generator. It is quiet and even has an eco mode. I like how it starts quickly with an electric start and has a dual-fuel option so it can run on gas or propane. It also stores easily because it sits lower than the tailgate of your truck.

One improvement that would be nice would be to make the buttons waterproof so they can't get wet while you are using them outside in freezing rain (don't forget to buy a cover after that!). The good news is that when you pour water on them, they work again.

  • RV-Ready to use

A portable generator can be your best friend if you own an RV. The generator is great for RV owners because it has a special outlet that can be used for an RV. This generator is powerful enough to run most 15,000 BTU RV air conditioners, which are often used in RVs.

Moreover, this generator can be hooked up to other generators as well. If you use the Champion Parallel Kit, you will get a 50A RV outlet. You will need a generator that is at least 2,800 watts.

However, this generator is also good because it can charge other generators. This would let you run two 15,000 BTU RV air conditioners when you hook up this generator to another one that has a wattage of at least 2,800 watts. It's easy to move and store because it has wheels and a handle.

  • Parallel Capability

You might find yourself in a situation where you need to use many appliances at the same time, but your power goes out. What do you do? You can use an inverter. This will work with no problem and won't make your lights flicker or anything like that.

In order to have a lot of power, you can do this by getting another Champion 3400W inverter and connecting them together in parallel. This way, you will have double the power. And it will be enough for most of the things in your home.

  • Quiet operation

This generator is quiet and efficient because it has a higher wattage. When it's not doing much work, the generator only makes about 60 dB of noise. That's like an idling car engine. But when it is doing more work, the sound stays reasonable even though other generators make louder noises. And that's why campers and RV owners like this machine- they can use it to cook or power their home while outside because of these features.

  • Smart Throttle

The noise is louder when you run more heavy loads and when you aren't using the economy mode.

This smart throttle will help because it adjusts the engine to make it quieter and use less gas. Energy Conserving Throttle will automatically adjust the amount of throttle opening as required by the load and speed of the engine.

Finally, the result is up to a 15% improvement in fuel economy. And with less throttle opening, there will be less noise too.

  • Warranty

One of the best things about this generator is that it comes with a 3-year warranty and free lifetime technical support.

If you have any problems with the generator, even after your warranty has expired, friendly experts will help you find a solution.

They are well known for excellent customer service.

It's important to make sure you are doing all the maintenance that the manufacturer tells you to do. If you don't, your warranty will become void.

The instructions are very clear in the manual on how to do this maintenance

If you have a problem with your machine, the first thing to do is check the troubleshooting section of the manual.

It will help you fix it without needing any extra help.

If that doesn’t work, call Champion Power Equipment and they will direct you to someone who can help near where you live.

What we like

01. Dual Fuel capability and long run time

We like dual fuel generators because they give you the choice of what to use for fuel. Champion 3400 is a really great generator with a 20-hour run time when using both fuels, which is better than any other generator on the market.

On the other hand, the Champion 3400 dual inverter is a very reasonable solution for those who need a portable backup power generator for their homes. If you have a hurricane, you can keep the generator running longer than other generators.

On the Champion, it normally uses one bottle of propane every 5-6 hours. On "Eco" mode, it lasts 17-18 hours per tank. This is good for normal use but remember to buy extra tanks. You can hear the generator at night because I keep it outside on my patio out of the rain, but the noise isn't bad at all in better weather (after a hurricane, for example).

02. Clean Power

The most common type of generator, the Dual Fuel Generator, is not the best choice for running laptops and LCD TVs. This is because it creates electricity that has more than 3% Total Harmonic Distortion (THD). This can be bad.

Inverter generators don't have the same problem as regular generators. They operate better and are less noisy. If you want to buy a generator that is also fuel-efficient, then you should buy an inverter generator.

03. It can run on gas and propane

People who live in a car or a camper will like this one. You can use it to either run the fridge or other things. If you need to save propane, you can use gas to run the AC and other things.

04. It is capable of operating for long periods of time

The Champion 3400-watt inverter generator can run for a long time. It can run up to 7.5 hours on a full gas tank and 14 hours on propane (20lb) which idles when it is low on fuel.

05. It’s a dependable piece of equipment

It comes with RV-ready outlets, a 30-amp 120V plug, two 120-amp plugs, and a 12V DC outlet. It can power essential things like a fridge or lights. You can use it to power things outside or when you are camping.

This product does have a specialty use. It can be used to power a TV so you can watch it outside. This would be beneficial if you had a cabin or a boat and want to sit outside and watch your favorite show.

Some places where it could come in handy are the following: RV, boat, camping, hiking/backpacking trip, trucker sleeping cabs for better rest, cabins that aren't wired with electricity, etc. You just need an AC plug-in that is around 100V-120V AC power to use this inverter.

What We Don’t Like

01. Battery Charger

If you use gasoline, the pull rope won't work if the battery is low. If you only use your generator in emergencies, it's important to keep the battery charged with a trickle charger.

I use an inexpensive Black & Decker trickle charger. It's a "smart" charger, meaning that it turns itself off when the battery is fully charged.

I've had the unit plugged in for over a year and it's never over-charged my battery.

02. Ground clearance of the wheel

The handle and wheels can make it easy to move this machine. The handle is built-in, which means that you do not need to carry it or find a way to attach it.

Wheels also make it easier to push the machine around. I wish the machine offered more ground clearance though.

Sometimes when you are pushing it on bumpy places, the bottom of the machine hits the ground and gets dragged on even if you put your weight on top of the handles.

03. Noise

Inverter generators make less noise than conventional ones, but they don’t work as well for high-load tasks like air conditioning or appliances with motors.

The noise is louder when you run more heavy loads and when you aren't using the economy mode.

They often use more fuel than standard models, which can really add up if your power goes out for days on end.

What Can A 3400-Watt Generator Run?

Running out of power is a common problem, but it's hard to know what you can run on your generator.

You may not be sure what you can and can't use with your generator. Some appliances are too big or require more power than the generator has available.

The 3400-watt generator will provide enough electricity to run most household items like lights, TV, refrigerator, freezer, stovetop range (up to 12 hours), central air conditioning system (up to 8 hours), and much more.

This thing runs well. I tested it and it was really good. It ran my fridge (7 amps, 840 watts) and generator (on the economy setting for hours). This machine powered my electric lawnmower (12 amps, 1440 watts) when I needed to mow the lawn. My microwave was also fine at 1000 watts.

I put in new oil after I had started the generator for five hours. The company made it easier to get the oil out. Now, you can remove it through a long tube instead of dumping it out from under your generator. You still need to tilt the generator to get all of the oil, though.

The Champion 3400 Dual Fuel Inverter generator is what I wanted. It is quiet and powerful. I know some words, but not all the words. The people who made the generator thought about how to make it easy for people like me to use.

How to change the oil of the Champion 3400-Watt Dual Fuel Inverter Generator?

Changing the oil of a generator is not an easy task.

It can be difficult to find the right type of oil, and even more difficult to know how much you need. Plus, it's hard to get at some parts without special tools or skills.

Here, I will show you the easiest way to change the oil of the Champion Inverter generator

How to change the oil of the Champion 3400-Watt Dual Fuel Inverter Generator
